This page contains modules deemed relevant for Consultants with main activities such as development and maintenance of ontologies (in collaboration with domain experts) and mappings, but who do not necessarily administrate the underlying SQL databases and platform. The consultant is the primary interface between the end-user (domain expert) and IT experts.


Expected competencies:

  • Technical skills: Ontology development including OWL, RDF, SPARQL, SQL, R2RML, UML modeling, data streams. Wiki and reporting technology is an advantage.
  • Domain skills: Good knowledge of the domain including vocabulary in use, processes, stakeholders, data used (type, diversity, meaning, frequency, amount, quality, completeness, confidentiality grade, etc.) and challenges associated with it. Some first order logic knowledge is an advantage.
