The Optique project participated with an exhibition stand at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid hosted by the BDVA 2015 summit. The stand was frequently visited during the summit. Tore Hartvigsen and Arild Waaler manned the stand and got a lot of attention, gave several mini presentations, and answered questions. In addition to increase the visibility of the Optique project, the objective was to recruit participants to the Optique Partner Program Summit II to be arranged by fluidOps in Frankfurt 25 September this year.
More than 300 European Big Data experts attended the BDVA Conference. The majority of the visitors to our exhibition were representatives from European academic communities with own projects or project initiatives seeking financial support from the EU program. Several visitors expressed synergies between their programs and our Optique approaches.
