Norwegian National Broadcaster uses RDF for Metadata

The use of semantic technologies is gaining uptake also in the public sector:  The Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) recently published a technical blog post about how they store and organise internal video/audio files and related metadata. More specifically, NRK uses RDF and other semantic web standards to store, organise and populate their metadata. Further down in the article NRK mention Optique and its partners, and how Optique approaches the Big Data problems.
